The genuine “langostino de Sanlúcar” is promoted by the Sanlúcar Big Prawn Fair as a brand image of Sanlúcar itself and as the “Langostino de Sanlúcar Certified Brand”. This local seafood stands out among every seafood due to its excellent quality and flavour and it pairs perfectly with the Manzanilla Sherry.
The fair is sponsored by the association of fisherman of Sanlúcar and it is co-organised by the local government with the collaboration of different institutions and entities. Most participants are restaurants which make different dishes with “langostinos” as one of the main ingredients.

The visit of the Catholic Monarchs to Borja in 1492 was motivated by the celebration of the first assembly of the "Santa Hermandad", a rural police, which had been created shortly before. Each year, at the end of July, this moment is remembered with the historical recreation "The arrival of the Catholic Kings in Borja".
