A show that takes place in different points of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and lasts for two days explains how the municipality conquered the phylloxera plague. It does so with music and fire in a festive way because the Phylloxera Festival gives a positive account of the effort made by the villagers to uphold the wine-producing tradition. When you have danced under the fire amidst insects and American vines, you know the end of the festival is near. A sprinkling of cava ensures that the vines will once again bear fruit.
